  • Everything you have done looks great! I love how you have taken the time to show us all. I have one question about this VAWT though. Shouldn't the blades be on so the smooth side is on the outside? This would create more of an airfoil effect I would think. The airfoil effect would help spin the blades rather than pushing against the blades. I, of course may be wrong, but that is my thought.

Still though, incredible work!! thanks again for sharing.

  • @gtphile

    Hi

no the wind catches the cupped part of the blades if they wer in the wind would not catch them

it is not a flat blade

  • I am in the process of building one as well. Your job is First Class! Thanks for sharing!!

  • what are the dimensions and measurements? Try to be specific and and informative...thxs

  • hi what is the size of the blades? i mean the gauge of the galvanized sheet? cn i use a heavier gauge? i have a 12 gauge sheet, will it work?

  • amazing :) better than my wooden blades. ur blades are awesome !!!!

  • VERY VERY nice I cant wait to see it make some power for you.Even when its not making power its great to look at.keep up the great work.TAKE CARE

  • Nice job, aspecialy your stator. The wings however do have a very poor efficiency design. I see people shoosen this design over and over again. Please do some readings on wing design and you will find out. Yo dont need much to improve your output with about 80%

  • WOW!!!!!

    Congratulations!!! Looks fantastic!!!

Next week i`m ordering the magnets for my lenz.

I was thinking about conecting it to small grid-tie inverter (one that goes into the plug socket) maybe thats easyer than a battery, charge controller and etc,etc..???

    Any opinions???

I`m very interested to hear what your alternater produces??
