I never said he was a bad person, I said I personally dislike him. I have been within 10 feet of him once, it was a negative experience, and that's really all it takes. I think he's a really good baseball player, I watch just about every Phils game, go to about 1 every 2 weeks, and I'm glad he's on our team, but until I see otherwise my perception probably won't change.

I do, he's a big kid himself and its hard to believe that he would turn a kid away like that. Maybe he was having a bad day. Maybe he screwed up. But I have seen a lot more good out of him than bad and you really shouldn't put him in a box and say he's a bad person when you only have one memory of him. My dad is my hero, but there have been snapshots in his life where if you saw him you would think he was a terrible person. We are all battling the flesh. He battles much more than you or I
That doesn't sound like him. He's a big jack so maybe you just misinterpreted his personality. He's usually very good about signing autographs. Maybe you caught him in a bad moment. The guy is very good with his young boys and they love the heck out of him. He's also very humble about the success he experiences on the field
was at Spring Training this year and half the players were signing autographs for people, mostly little kids... Jayson walked up to where we were standing and a 6 year old held a bat up for him to sign and Jayson laughed at him and proceeded to sign for the blonde hooker with her tits hanging out, gets a picture with her, looks at the kid and snickers again, then walks away. That was all I needed to know.
Happy Birthday Jayson Werth

I met jayson when he was with the dodgers, and he was nothing but nice to me. He seemed like a really nice person.
