  • Installing the upgrades in and of themselves does not void Apple's warranty. HOWEVER, the warranty does not cover any damages that may result from doing so and physically damaging the computer will void the warranty.

  • awesome video and really helpful, im going to be doing this once my new pro comes and wanted to know what to use if i dont have a nylon pry tool.

  • @chris4267 A guitar pick works well as a nylon pry tool. ;-)

  • @STarFishUltra what's the brand and specs of the drive you got? I have a 2010 Macbook Pro 13" and would like to upgrade to a SSD.

  • I put an SSD in my Macbook Pro 13 when I bought it a couple of months ago and the difference is night and day...programs load instantaneously
