I put it back to charge only before disconnecting, and it will not let me flash it. Gets the flash_image: not found error. Whats going on?

hey I've read all the comments above, I've tried everything that is suggested, it still says flash_image: not found i am running miui on htc desire bravo, any ideas? i know that i don't have s-off if that makes a difference, if i need s-off how do i do it, please note i am using mac so there was only one piece of software i could use to root my phone
