Radar speeds down Conrod that year showed the fastest car was 05 with AM driving, 272 kmh, Brocks fastest was 269, Grices was 271, the skylines were only in the mid 60s. If moff hadnt split that oil cooler they would have won with Griceys diff oil leak pit delays, fastest lap was gricey 2.18.99, next was PB with 2.19.02

If u take the 6sp hollinger out of brockys 91 group a car & put it in his 86 group a car, then post a video of it with only the audio (no footage), you'd think its a v8 supercar because they sound so simular.

Almost forgot the year Brock and Moffat - the fiercest rivals to ever race against each other at Bathurst (then and now) - actually teamed up one year.
They might have won it too - except for Moffat damaging 05 in practice - we'll never know.

True. Reason oil coller broke is 'The moff' drove into pits too fast over speed humps...car returned to round too quickly and oil cooler base hit the ground ever so slightly. Moff also teamed uo with PB at the 1980 Sandown Enduro.
