JINOTEGA - According to article 132 of the labour law in Nicaragua, the state, the employers, labour unions and families are all responsible for protecting children and adolescents from any harm inflicted on their physical and psychological wellbeing, and educational development.

However, reality is different. In Nicaragua, the majority of children are working, mostly in hazardous conditions, as children from Club Infantil in Jinotega report in this video, produced with the support of Xchange Perspectives.
