Nice throw!. Looks like yoko wakari with slightly different angles.

I love this move! :) but Kodokan dont recognize this technique. They say that if you perform ude-gaeshi with applying a kansetsu-waza it is not a nage-waza and if you are not applying any kansetsu-waza, it is regarded as Yoko-wakare. Personally i would call Ude-gaeshi a Yoko-wakare variation which opens up for an easy Ude-hishigi-te-gatame once we hit the ground, and its name is like the unofficial name Te-guruma (Sukui-nage variation)

I tried this move once, it didn't work very well. I prefer closing off and controlling their hips with reversals if I do go to the ground.

White's left arm can prevent a drop into side mount a bit by keeping it stretched. But most importantly look at their positions in 0:22 and 0:24. White is now even a little beyond the point where Blue was standing. The throw is a circular power where Blue is pulled downward at the correct angle. If you find someone to demonstrate on you, it will be easiest to understand you really can't drop straight down. You'd have a better chance following the force and "pop" at the end to land full mount ;)

It does not work without lightning speed, and also not demonstrated in the video, sacrifice throws such as this one are used on opponents that are either heavier or very aggressive, for example... if you're fighting someone in school and you two are wrestling against the lockers, and he is pushing you up against them, a throw like this would put him in serious pain, they're not to common in tournaments, or in real applications, but if applied right, do a lot of damage

the thing is, most times i'v seen this technique and eny other secrifice throw, the thrower has to use the force of the attacker, otherwise he will be mounted. if the throwee pushes in, and then the thrower execute the throw, he will just fly throw the air. you cant stop the momentum once the throw has been executed, so you cant go to the mount.
