@faisalabulaziz1 whether it happened or not is irrelevant faisal, the fact is that things such as this and things much worse happen throughout any and all models of every brand. One case is not enough to convince anyone that a brand is not safe. 8 people had to die for Toyota to correct a braking issue and their cars are still viewed as safe over all. Volvo is no longer safe because your engine cut out at 60km per hour? Do you have any idea how many things can shut off an engine at that speed?

hello friends i just bought a 2011 S80 in kuwait and im unhappy to say that this machine nearly killed me,
,the engines shuts at 60 kilometer per hour and had a terrifying experience struggling for my life,,,,,,
it only did 5000 kilometer dont buy volvo
I HOPE VOLVO SEES this
because its safe to say that ITs no longer safe.........

The design looks outdated the s80 should be volvo flagship sedan, therefore it should compete with Mercedes S-class, Audi A8, and BMW 7-series, in its current condition it is far behind the top 3.
