@MellowMustang you have been watching too much TV and Films, You do realise that US only contributed about 20% of allies troops in WW2, D-Day was over glorified for the Americans as 65% of the Soldiers in the landings were British and Canadian, which was part of the British Empire.
There are conspiracys that Germans landed in the south east of England, and the Brits destroyed them before they got anywhere. You obviously havent done your homework as you call it "England" Great Britain you mean

Furthermore, let us not forget that Germany had been meticulously preparing for war for years before. Several of the Worlds best armies? You're full of shit. You invaded Belgium and France and France being a tattered mess afterwer World War 1 surrendered in weeks. Although Russia had numbers, they had 1 rifle per bloody regiment. What other crack armies were you fighting? You egit.

Germany could never have invaded Britain or defeated it. Regardless of what Churchill asked the second Britain was outproducing Germany with regards to aircraft the Battle of Britain was won. There were only 7 pilots from America fighting and they got no kills, not that I don't respect them for their help and a few from other nations. Germany needed air superiority to gain control of the channel and invade, even 4 to 1 the RAF kicked Jerry's ass.
