  • I'm so overwhelmed right now. The thing is I was too young to appreciate this great man of God when he was on the land of the living. But JustLikeFire...I truly appreciate these vids you have. Godspeed to you. I was reared on the preaching/teaching of the Late Apostle J. Washington and was there at 41 Rockaway, Glenmore and when they marched to Jamaica Ave. I am just so overwhelmed..thank you for the vids.

  • God Bless. The purpose for the work is to restore, revive, encourage and motivate people to draw near to God

  • @Musik216 -I WAS AT 41 ROCKAWAY, 503 GLENMORE, THEN THE MARCH! I MISS THE SUMMERS UNDER THE TENT!

  • Thank you for this. I was a member from 80-83. Those 3 years taught me so much.

I was 17 a that time and enjoyed Apostle Johnny Washington. He was truly a man of God. And that choir was amazing. From the 1st sopranoes to the altos and tenors. I remember Jewel who would hit those hight notes. I remember Sis Francis, Capers and the rest of the woman. Bernard Tenor. I have found memories and Tabernacle taught me to be who I am now and I accepted the Lord at the tender age of 14 and I am now 46.

  • I haven't heard this since i was a little boy...i LOVE this song being sung this way!!!

  • does anybody know where this song originated? i want to sing it as an interlude on my next album but i'm worried about copywrites/liscensing... i don't want to get sued haha

  • He is deeply missed he was an anointed man of God.I was raised up listening to him on the radio with my mom.He touched alot of lives.

  • I agree with you... my mom went into labor with me at 41 Rockaway while she was at prayer... Pastor Capors drove her to Brookdale and here I am. He told my mom that I would be a secretary when I grew up... and he TRULY spoke that into my life... because that is what I am... he was a very compassionate man from what I can remember Apostle is truly missed.

  • He must've been preaching hard because his voice is hoarse.

  • Justlikefire, PLEASE KEEP IT COMING!! God richly Bless you!
