I used to deliver into the downtown St. Paul post office and got to see some of the protests. The bottom line is that most protesters were peacefull and were beaten and illegaly and wrongfully arrested anyway. It was made clear to me that day that the police state is already here in full. I am no liar, I saw it with my own eyes. Our government is evil as far as I'm concerned. And It is guilty of crimes against humanity and beyond pardon for the way it treats it's own and the world.

i was down there a few times with my family. the police were very nice to us, maybe because we were not screaming in their faces. the protesters, however, were very ill behaved. While i was watching some of the protesting, a person in the armed forces standing next to us was being harassed by bystanders because he very calmly stated that the police were just trying to clear the streets so that cars could come through. i was embarrassed to call myself a minnesotan.
