i really love this song. because its about a boy who really feels like hes unwanted around his family and theyre not thinking about him only the baby. its like he's selfish bacause he always wants eyes on him not anybody else. Also the movie is about how he is trying to convice many people that he is being abuse which he's not and thats what meade me think really hard about this movie and song. this was my favorite song out of the whole movie. it made me feel step in his life and shoes.

I don't see how this can be seen as in the third person, when it references I/me repeatedly.

It's just the way Joshua feels, and I feel the fly is a creature that cannot think or judge, as little kids would mess with them and pull off their wings. A fly can't talk back and ask why their wings were pulled off...
