A Trip Around Orion

What exactly are the constellations? What would a constellation like Orion look like from the back? Or from the side?

This video is, as the Brits would say, "exactly what it says on the tin." A computer animation takes us 360 degrees around Orion, and shows us what a constellation is--or, more importantly, isn't.

@tisilwm Well, that's the problem: the more science gets away from areas of everyday human experience--the things our little monkey-brains actually evolved to be able to deal with--the more difficulty we have conceptualizing what's going on. Don't worry, it's not just you.
