@linuxgeek81 I would check out the Customizer 104 it is a re branded version of the classic IBM Keyboard. Made by the same company that made them back then, using the same insides. Google "Customizer 104"

Once I spilled a glass of orange juice on my keyboard and every time I pressed a key, it would output 4-5 keys on the screen (for example I pressed 'A' and it printed 'AQWXD'). I ended up buying another one, in fact one with those with the extra keys nobody needs. One day I decided to open it up, cleaned the membrane and sure enough, it worked again.
yeah old keyboards ar the best
my new one sucks

@needfordylan My new one (the Filco Majestotouch Pro 2) is actually WAY better than this rubberdome kbd, it's a true key keyboard with n-key-Rollover.

The best keyboard I ever owned I got with my first PC in 1995, made by Gateway. I threw it away after I got a new PC and regretted it forever =(. New keyboards are wither media / wireless keyboards, which I don't want, or are low quality build.

@snaggle90 Unfortunately, yes. I was looking for a new one some time ago and was even willing to spend extra money (abou EUR100). However instead of quality you get tons of useless features and 100 extra keys nobody needs. It's a shame.
