Looking For Love In All The Wrong Places

We all want to enjoy are lives here on earth. But sometimes we get caught up in this world and we fall in love with different things and we begin to put are focus only on what we love. As Christian we grow in faith and during are walk with God, God will show you that some of the things you love you need to let go because you are starting to care about it more, instead of God. For me, one of my things was Disco music and lights shows. I spent alot of time playing with that stuff and it took time away from God and hurt my witness to people. So God showed me to let it go. So I did. We all have things we love are those things getting before God, or the things you love sin before God. I John 2:15-17 says, "Stop loving the world and the things that are in the world. If anyone persists in loving the world, the Fathers love is not in him.
For everything that is in the world—the desire for fleshly gratification, the desire for possessions, and worldly arrogance—is not from the Father but is from the world.
And the world and its desires are fading away, but the person who does Gods will abides forever." In he video I was reading out of NIV Bible. So if you will look at what you love and where your focus is. Then ask God if you are right with what you are doing.
