just a piece of advise...if you are a maths teacher you shouldnt just start of by getting straight into it do elaborate more.. your students wont get it if you jump straight into the water!

help me my sister need your help how do i round off 34,528 to the nearest thousand,ten, thundered

@valine0 for the nearest thousand look at hundreds its 5 so round up to 35 000 same thing for ten and hundred nearest hundred is 34 500 because the tens is a 2 and finally for the nearest ten look at the units which is 8 so round up to 34 530

@Chamath5 round to the nearest 10 you look at 2nd digit 100 3rd 100 4th and so on if the digit is lower than 5 round down 5 or more round up you round up or down the digit before the 1 your looking at meaning 1to 4 leave it 5 or more move it up eg 46 to 50

if its rounding to 10 to round up to nearest 10 if its 5 or higher if its lower then 5 round lower example: 104 round nearest 10 = 100 coz its not over 5 if its rounding to 100 only round higher if its 50 or over or if its under 50 round lower same with 1000's just round if its 500 or over if under 500 then round lower
