so both the 1/10 scale and the big 1/6 scale run 31 mph. i thought you might have put another motor into the 1/6 model to give it more speed.

@3justingarnhum I didn't mention the original 1/10th scale at all :-/ The 1/10th scale will go 35 to 40mph on the same battery. I stayed with the original motor to keep costs down, and because it really didn't need more power to go just as fast as the original gas-powered HPI Baja 5B that inspired me to try these conversions.

@3justingarnhum Radar showed 31mph with the stock 1/10th scale motor and a single small 7.4V battery.
