Very cute. I'm glad you got another ferret, though no one can replace Oberon. Sage looks like she's adapting very well. I like the long tubes. More videos of them. Have you thought of getting a tiny cam and making a ferretcam? I'd love to see a trip through the tubes.

They always bring a smile to my face and joy to my heart. Thanks for checking in.

You were right in your advice Yvette. It would have been selfish of me to not get another. I've ordered the mini cam you suggested and we'll see if I can somehow adapt it into a ferret cam. Might be tough since they hate harnesses, clothes and generally anything that constricts them. But I'm willing to give it my best shot. Aspen has alloed me to take her for a walk with a harness, maybe Sage will allow me to try it on him. Puck and Titania are my escape artists, no way on them.

entertaining!
what is that fence stuff called
vgwkido 1 year ago
@vgwkido It's a small animal playpen. They come under a couple of brand names but are probably all made by the same manufacturer. Comes with 8 panels and forms an octogon when encircled. You can also get a 3 panel extension to make it even bigger. Nylon covers are available to seal the top or bottom if you have escape artists or if you want them to have shade outside. Most on-line pet suppliers have them in their small animal section. They are harder to find in regular pet stores.

My four are a handful. I take some simple precautions so that I can play with them without them ganging up on me.. For instance, they love to crawl up the tunnel my pants leg makes so I wear shorts or tight pants when they are out. You might have noticed my bare knees in some of my vids.

Aahahhaaaa!! Are they kind of like cats or more like dogs?*****Duke

Well Duke, they are kind of like super smart kittens in the way they play. They treat my dog like he's a giant ferret. They interact with each other lightly when caged but when it's outside play time they are 100MPH all the way. They think everything belongs to them so where they run has to be carefully ferret-proofed. They can sleep 16-18 hours a day or more, saving that energy for full on fun when out. I have never had as much as a scratch from their teeth when I play with them.
