My two favourite poems...Through my life I come back to them constantly. Sofronitsky - simply God!!! Skriabin and a Sofronitsky - one single whole!

Avrei voglia di dire che SCriabin come compositore di piano non è inferiore a Debussy, Ravel. Rachmaninoff (anzi mipiace di piu..).SEnza fare paragoni................ grande quanto Chopin ed Schumann.

Both Horowitz and Sofronitsky are at the top on the Scriabin's music !!!! But the genius is Scriabin !!!!!!!!!!

Sofronitsku i ABSULUTE MUST in studying the ways of Scriabin interpretation. Another one is IGOR ZHUKOV, who is not performing anymore because of health problems. Maybe St. Deja, whose 4,5,6 and 10th Sonatas were excellent. Horovits Scriabin is interesting, but in his ego technical trip (f.i. Vers la Flamme) he follows absolute false path. He and Scriabin are milions of light years away of each other.

Absolutely magical. However, I would put Horowitz alongside Sofronitsky for this particular piece. Although I usually don't like Horowitz's interpretations of music in general, his Scriabin playing is a favorite of mine.
