Welcome Mr Obama. You made us happy with your speech in in Ankara with your open attitude and and good will. However, we have some anxiety. Until now USA has always demanded and gotten what it wants [from Turkey] but now we have a request.

There is a proverb in Turkey which explains my current situation [with the black face]. They who request something should have a black face, and they how do not give something should be an arab (black). When they translate the word black from Turkish to English they might use words such as Negro or Blackie. Please do not be fooled with this translation. This word is not used to insult or belittle black people. In contrary, it is used in a sense that our face should be darker. Hence, I have painted my faces black so that I can make a request to Mr Obama.

Now to the point. We [Turkey] have had a problem for years with the terrorist organization PKK. You said that PKK is a common enemy to both our countries in your speech today. We are expecting serious and earnest corporation from you [as opposed to Bush] in this subject. Give us actionable information [from northern Iraq] and WE will do whatever is necessary if you do not want to do it. Instruct your allies in northern Iraq to cooperate with us in this subject. They are your men and they will obey you.

The second issue is about the Armenian genocide. In your speech today you said that your point of view in this subject have not changed. Please give us your support in this subject against the propaganda from the Armenian lobby.

Please continue with your support for Turkeys concession procedure to EU. Also, there is this subject of IMF. We do not want money from you, we want cooperation.

You said in your speech that Turkey is an important allied to US. Give us what we want as allies and we will give you what you want." sailorpeg1313

Gökhan Taşkın: "Irkçılık yapmadım, mizah yaptım"

Türban tartışmalarına olan tepkisini başörtüsüyle haber sunarak gösteren Flash TV ana haber sunucusu Gökhan Taşkın, bu kez de yüzünü siyaha boyayarak, ABD Başkanı Barack Obama'ya seslendi. Haber sunumu sırasında ABD lideri Obama'ya, "Yüzümüzü kararttık. İsteyenin bir yüzü kara vermeyen Obama" diye seslenen ve Türkiye için isteklerini sıralayan Taşkın, dış basında ?ırkçılıkla' suçlandı.

Kendisine telefonla ulaştığımız Taşkın, "Irkçılık yapmadım. Yüzümü, Obama'ya benzemek için de boyamadım. İşin içine biraz mizah kattım ve ?İsteyenin bir yüzü kara, vermeyen Arap' atasözüne vurgu yaparak, Obama'ya seslendim ve de isteklerimi sıraladım. Zenci mahallesinden ABD liderliğine yükselme başarısı gösteren Obama'dan geldiği yeri unutmamasını istedim. Vermeden alınmayacağını bilsin istedim. Basından izlediğim kadarıyla yalnızca İsrail basını bu sözlerimi ırkçılıkla değerlendirmiş. Görüntüden yola çıkmışlar, sözlerime dikkat edince doğruyu görecekler. Sözlerimde asla aşağılama yok, ırkçılık yok. Ben yalnızca yüzümü karartıp, ülkem için istemem gerekeni istedim" dedi.

Yüzünü boyayarak haber sunumuna başlayan Taşkın, Obama'dan şunları istemişti: "Sayın Obama, yüzünüze yansıttığınız iyi niyetinizle gönlümüzü fethettiniz. ABD bizden hep ister ve istediğini alır. İsteyenin bir yüzü kara vermeyen zenci ya da Arap olsun. Bu söz hakaret veya aşağılama için değil. Sadece ?yüzümü karartıp Obama'dan bir şeyler isteyeyim' dedim. PKK ile mücadelede işbirliği istiyoruz... İsteyenin bir yüzü kara vermeyen Obama olmasın. Ermeni soykırım iddiaları, Ermeni lobisinin dayatması. Sayın Obama bu konuda bize destek verin. AB üyeliği konusunda fikrinizde samimiyseniz desteğinizin takipçisi olun. IMF ile ilişkiler konusunda destek verin. Müslüman ailenizden duymuşsunuzdur? almadan vermek Allah'a mahsustur'. Almadan verin ki isteklerinizi alasınız.. .. biz yüzümüzü kararttık, bizi de sizin gibi karartmayın diyoruz. Meramımızı anlatmak için bakın yüzümüzü kararttık ve istedik. Bizim, ?Üzüm üzüme baka baka kararır' diye bir sözümüz var. Bu demektir ki ?siz bize nasıl davranırsanız biz de size öyle davranırız'. Bu sözü hatırlatalım dedik. Bizi de sizin gibi karartmayın Sayın Obama?"

Taşkın daha öjnce de; Papa'yı, İstanbul ziyareti sırasında Müslüman olmaya çağırmış, İsrail'in Gazze'de yaptığı saldırıyı kınamak için Filistin poşusu bağlamıştı. 'Ekran eylemcisi' spiker Gökhan Taşkın, bukalemun misali.. Flash tv spikeri yine yapacağını yaptı.

I don't take this guy seriously, besides I'm not really sure if Turkey has a history of hating Black people.

Turkey has far bigger fish to fry for a start, there is extreme resistance to Turkey joining the EU and there are plenty of low level racist comments, against Turks on youtube.

You can't change someone's opinion of you, so its better not to give a shit, about an opinion, backed up by nothing.
