I wonder what's so "brutal" about it. I was expecting something more like kaizo mario or SM Frustration, but instead what we get is a hack of SMW with different and nice backgrounds that look a lot like Yoshi's Island.
anyway, nice going =)

At first when I saw the name "Brutal Mario", I was expecting some n00b hack filled with munchers, invisible coin blocks, and dickish jumps. I could not have been more wrong.

Now that I think about it, yes, its No Hajimari, since Haji is the word and the No is the particle. Good luck man!

The level's name is "Tabi Nomi(ha/wa)ji Mari"...

That reminds me, I can probably read/interpret the level names now!
The level name is "Tabi no hajimari," which roughly means the start of a journey. Kinda reminds me of "Adventure Starts" from TSRP, since it basically means the same thing. I imagine the 'mari' is not next to the 'haji' because only the 'haji' would be written in Kanji.
To the change title/description screen!

@AxemJinx Mari and haji are not next to each other because the dots above ji are counted as one character. The same happens after tabi.

@Guardian016 Oh, the rendaku? Yeah, that makes sense.
AxemJinx 9 months ago
@AxemJinx It's not about rendaku. The screen cannot fit one character and its dots together in one space because of the limited capacity there. If you type it here, it can be たびのはじまり.

@Guardian016 Oh, I think I was misappropriating the term. I understood what you were saying, though :p
