Actually in one instance on British television he made comments that came across as advocating the execution of Salman Rushdie for blasphemy. This attitude goes against freedom of speech and religion. He later said the comments were "stupid and offensive jokes" but some of them did not come across that way when I saw him make the comments. He however did say that he would support the decision made by a court of law, so I guess that's something.
