The only thing I can complain about the X500's is the glossy gloss. Freaking dust/fingerprint magnet.
But I'd rather have that than the newer dinky X700's. They're tiny behbehs compared to X500's.
I own a Toshiba Qosmio X505-Q810X. 1.5GB GDDR5 and that i7 Processor.
The build quality(in my opinion) is very decent. 4/5. Nice big 18.4" screen. I am very happy with mine. I had some initial technical difficulties but that was mainly due to human error.
Walking around with it is good exercise!

I wish Toshiba will make a 15IN Qosmio with this design, I like it more than the MBP design.

@kingofwiigames generally i'd go alienware or asus. Toshiba offers good components for the money but the hardware isn't great.
