Hey guys, great video, just got my 74bti!

I am having trouble with the RADIO...i have everything connected and wokring, except the radio doesn't work. When i turn the radio function on, there is only silence! not even any static. My antenna works fine and i connected an adaptor, which i think is working ok. Is there some menu/setting i need to adjust, did i forget to connect a wire??? thanks for the help!!

@knowlt007 you may have a factory amplifier in your vehicle make sure you connect power to the factory amp. If you using an after market wiring harness it is usually the blue wire but check the instructions before connecting. Without further detail about your vehicle it is difficult to make suggestions. You could take a speaker and connect it directly to one of the channels of the radio bypassing the factory harness to verify the radio is working properly.

My unit is not turning on... I have all connections done right, but no power on from the unit. I remember on top there were two screws that you had to take out, I took those out but is there anything else I need to do?

@Redblood797 an easy way would be simply ground the parking brake wire. If you want to put a switch in line to turn it on an off you can do that also. You can simply tie into the ground wire on the radio and the DVD will play anytime.

What is necessary for the parking brake bypass. Does it need to be pulsed? or just a simple switch on off? Please give me more information as I am installing one now lol. thanks
