At the end of May, more than 70 horses were rounded up in Letea, a protected forest in the Danube Delta. They were kept in an enclosure for a week without food or water. Some of the horses' owners were looking to make some easy money.
VIER PFOTEN field officers uncovered this illegal practice, and made the impossible possible. VIER PFOTEN brought the rescued horses to safety.
After 3 months of intensive care, VIER PFOTEN will bring the rescued wild horses back to the Danube Delta.
For this feat, we need every donation we can get. Help us help the horses, so that they can live wild and free again.
