  • Plastic bottle anyone?

  • @1988Rover11 yill agree it does seem better but ill bet in a blind taste teste, they will have no differences at all

right now im doing partial mash don't really have the room for it in the new house. its a triplex so basically i have a large apartment. cant quite get my partial mashes quite as good as ag, but hey its beer that's not $25 for a dozen of piss

right now i have a festa pale ale going and a partial mash brown ale that im trying out

  • what is the song?

  • @fatsachs coated plastic does not leak gasses,or soda would go flat, the plastic is amber, just as most glass bottles, shelf life is the same, plastic recycling is easier then glass... and already widely in effect..., packaging, and shipping is also easier...

any other concerns?... or are you just going to quote ideas from 10 years ago?

seriously do some research yourself... miller is already using it....with good results...but hey you already know everything...

  • @mageac You're a fool and I'm gonna show you why. Then I'll have nothing more to say to you cause I've been homebrewing AG since before it was cool so you're not going to tell me anything. Now, here's the major issues at hand that prove you're full of shit about plastic taking over: Gas permeability, light sensitivity, shelf life, marketing, recycling concerns and historical resistance. I'd suggest you do some research on the topic because you're really just a know nothing.

  • @fatsachs actually...ive been brewing my own... in glass...for about 4 years now...

but guess what... ive used plastic... and its literally... no difference...

your one of those types that would pay $40 for a $3 steak if it was plated right and thing it was the best steak in the world...

if anything, your the mindless consumer...

  • @mageac I'm sorry I enjoy my beer fresh and tasting the way it should but you're talking about a ridiculous change that's just not gonna happen buddy. You still haven't answered if you even have an inkling of an idea what the craft beer world is so I'm now positive you're just a commercial consumer drone at this point. Plastic WILL NEVER take hold in the craft brew industry ever so I have no worries. Enjoy drinking your watered down commercial plastic flavored stale swill.

  • @fatsachs if you get all worked up about companies using plastic instead of glass, you sir are the one bent in the head

sure some will still use glass, but overall plastic will win out, they are there to make money...period...

  • @mageac Not gonna happen period. Maybe the retards at Busch or Miller might but who gives a fuck about that shit anyway. If you think it'll be an industry wide change then you are in fact bent in the head. Do you even know what craft beer is?
