@DHHMia yeah,u don't have to going to the menu, there is also survival mode, where u have to run escape from ghosts, from house to house but some ghosts must be beaten like akane, azami, yoshitatsu. but in survival, there are no kusabi or sae, or even mayu, mio just alone, the last boss is utsuro, a giant ghost came out from hellish abyss, you have to beat it....then u complete the survival....if u've completed the survival mode with s-rank, u get type-e costume(fatal frame 1 heroine costume)

Since it's been a long time you've probably figured this out by now? xD But you can switch films in the Xbox version by using the left trigger. (I hit it a lot by accident when I try to evade attacks because I just randomly press all the buttons lol)

how do u get the costumes do you get them on a second playthrough or are they not even obtainable for the playstation version?

@SethDreamer Yes on second playthrough, you get a and b on your second, c and d unlock after finishing hard mode, g after finishing mission mode, h after nightmare, and e and f for S ranking all the missions (hardest ones to get)

Wow, the PS2 is different from the XBOX.

What are the main differences? I know that in the Xbox version, you can switch film without having to go to the menu.
