This is terrible! How can someone be denied the right to vote just because you're not registered?! In Canada, if you're not registered you can just register at the polling station the day of!
This has to be unconstitutional in european countries. This is denying a fundamental right on the basis of bureaucracy! Terrible, no wonder the turnout in european elections is so low, and now wonder opponents of europe call it undemocratic.

@Cnd1867 In the UK can register by post or online using a form which is mailed to the previous or current owner's address. This form is sent out every year to ensure that electoral roll list is up to date and everyone is register correctly to ensure they can vote in elections.
