@MrMovieKing2011 Not quite. The spock from the other movies goes back in time from the future (post star trek nemesis) to where the USS Kelvin gets destroys, creating an alternate universe.

Ok, two comments:
1. It's a good movie.
2. The whole thing is a time-travel/alternate reality cheat because the writer's had a story they wanted to tell that was different from what the established background said it was, but they wanted to use Star Trek Characters.
