@L2R34D In many asian cartoon/manga(anime/manga <---Japanese) media, when a person is aroused by what they see or think they tend to have a nose bleed. That's something every asian knows without a doubt. So since that is something every asian would know, the company/hospital(or whaever this commercial is from) decided to grab the attention of the audience by something which they all know and find amusing/funny. Which is nose bleeds. And blah blah. So yeah, in short: Asian Humor to donate blood

@treez878 ha. welp maybe that could explain the many otaku conventions, anime thats being released every single day, costumes and JRPG's being developed constantly. Maybe to you it seems like that but the history of an otaku, since it started back in the late or early 1980's. was viewed as a bad thing. but nowadays its like you calling yourself gay, back then they'll kill you, now its viewed as pride.

@bacsisback Welp imma tell you the REAL reason why since Im an Otaku. But then again there is many reasons but this is the most ridiculous one. Its basically because they can't show boners in Anime unless its a Hentai, so they use nosebleeds instead. There are shows or episodes like in that one episode of Higurashi that the main protagonist got a boner but they didn't show it at all. They're not allowed to show any boners so to make it more comfortable and for us to understand and for te lulz.
