The Kickbee is a wearable device that allows a pregnant mother to share the kicks and movements of her baby with her husband and family. The Kickbee senses a kick, and updates a Twitter account of the event. The father can choose to receive SMS messages when new updates are posted, allowing them to be aware of the baby's movement from a distance.
Kickbee was created by NYU graduate student Corey Menscher, who is attending the Interactive Telecommunications Program (ITP), and was presented publicly at the ITP Winter Show 2008 (http://bit.ly/vdwf) For more information on Kickbee, go to http://portfolio.menscher.com/itp/kickbee
