So sorry Sarah. Do you know why they're increasing the dosage if 100mg worked in growing a follicle?

That was my question also. I left them a voicemail today to let them know I had gotten my period. I will expect a phone call from the RE tomorrow sometime to ask why they'd increase the dosage and why I would not be put on progesterone supplements. More coming tomorrow!

So sorry Sarah. I was just diagnosed with PCOS :( it was a sad day but I was glad to know why we haven't gotten pregnant yet.We've been ttc for 14 months. Anyways I told you that to tell you this, my doctor is putting me on metformin and I was wondering why your doctor hasn't. If that doesn't work on its own then add Clomid but not stop the metformin. She said they each have their good points and are capable of getting you pregnant but together the chances are much better.

I know that every woman's body is different and each responds differently to each medication. My body thankfully has responded positively with Clomid, but if the doctor's say to go on Metformin too - girl you better believe I'll be on that, too! Haha! PCOS sucks, but you will get pregnant. I'm sorry about your bfn, about two months ago, I was 10 days late, got one faint positive, and a positive digital, but all the rest were negatives. I went to the doc's and they told me I wasn't. I was so frustrated I sat on a park bench with my face in my hands crying. I guess when your body says it's time, it's time.  Best of luck for next cycle! -Angel
