phil lebante is one of the most respectable vocalists of all time. He doesn't edit his screams to make them sound better or add a double tone

@bucketOhead23 Yeah, take Mutiny Within for example. Dunno if you've heard of them, they are sorta new on the metal scene. I'd say their songs are about 90% clean vocals, and they are probably one of my favorite metal bands out there right now.

@bucketOhead23 Phil is an atheist. I read it, I'm holding the magazine right here, right now. He used to be a Christian but he isn't now. If you don't want to believe it, that's cool. Please don't let this escalate to an argument I'm sick of getting into fights over stupid shit on the internet
The breakdown at the end of Some of the People, All of the Time makes me shit bats covered in abortion blood while punching nuns in the throat...Just saying, it's brutal.

@RyanEnvy I think the deep death growls that Phil does on the new CD should be proof enough that he isn't soft by any means. I'm with you, so what if he decides to sing in his songs. There are plenty of metal bands that have singing in their songs. Sing along! that's the whole point. Screams and growls are not good on every type of song. I wouldn't want Hold On to be all screams because it would then lose its impact on the song. That is when the screams are better used to accent a part.
