Ok so you've seen all the wizzy demos of Win7 on Microsoft.com/windows7 but how does it really run on the current crop of low powered netbooks?
I've recorded my netbook experience here - in mostly in unedited video to show you the real performance currently on a Netbook with the RC. I'm running Win7 Ultimate which means I can watch live TV on my netbook as well as have it record TV using the Media Center built-in.
The video starts with the basics - boot up time, wake up time some Aero graphics frills and then into the super cool media center.
Love It!

  • which tv tuner do you use?

does it work well on your netbook? ive been thinking about getting one for mine..

  • Great "review"

no unnecersarry japping, and perfect real-list info. Couldn't have asked for a better show off.

  • you should have done it without Aero, since MS don't recommend using Aero unless you have a dedicated gfx card, instead of integrated gfx like on a net book. I must say though, even with aero, speed is quite good for a net book.

  • If u put a SSD in there, all loading and boot time with be 1/3 of what it`s now.

  • Im too getting Vista like Boot ?

    P4 2.8ghz , 768mb ram FX5500

  • Cool!

    Would love one of those!

What's the Graphics Card like? Hoping you reply with "It will manage DX9c up to SM2" So I could run XNA on it :P
