Obama: Health Care Reform on the Cusp of Reality

President Barack Obama applauded the efforts of Senate Democrats who have worked to get the 60 votes his heath care reform package needs for passage.

This isn't health care reform. What are they reforming? More subsidies for insurance company's,no public option or medicare reform.

This is not what the American people want. The majority want a public option. This is disappointing form Obama. Come on people we voted for change and this is not it. Yes we like Obama but he must be held accountable the same as we held Bush accountable. The Republicans are putting things into the bill that weaken it and will not even vote for it!! Then when it does not work they have their ammunition. Wake up Democrats, what did we vote for??

As we know, the Prez gives great speeches. BUT, he needs to find a dentist in Washington. Have we noticed the whistling whenever he speaks? It can really get out of hand in a hurry. It detracts from the message and he should correct the gaps in his teeth...after all, he is a Harvard grad and Harvard grads don't have bad teeth!

This action when so many are out of work and the Dems have spent trillions of dollars...is ill conceived at best. This Prez is not a priority type guy. And, if he goes off on another spiral into global warming, he will never win reelection. Many look forward, however, to getting Chuckie Schumer and Kerry and Boxer out of the Senate. This will happen when they go up for reelection. Forget Reid, he lost his election even before it is held. Let's get the NO LISTENERS out of office now.

a concious doctor does not think about who pays more, rather, they are supposed to do the best they can. Doctors are not bankers.

I agree, the only way this could have been a REAL reform is if there would have been a public option! unfortunately the public is so indoctrinated to think it would mean socialism that they dont even realize we are a socialist republic its just that we only get the bad side and not the benefits.
