Last weekend's war protests drew 100,000 people but they were nearly ignored by the mainstream media. Since the media are owned by some of the companies who actually benefit from perpetual war, it is no surprise that they would want people to believe there is no substantial opposition to the war. Public opposition to the war will spread when the public knows more about it.
Robert Kennedy Jr. said that media consolidation and campaign finance reform are two of the biggest issues we face today. Seek out independent media and vote for candidates who demonstrate independence from the special interests.
If the illegal immigrants can march and they receive coverage lets march again in protest of this senseless war and the truth of 9/11. Let us have a million man/woman march in every major city. I'm not talking about one day but an entire week of protest. Save up your sick days and let us protest.

I am not surprised the dead exceed 1 million, but these have seen the end of war, according to Plato. The hundreds of thousands maimed, injured, blasted and limbless will live a life of hell-thanks to Bush & a few other monsters.

Last ORB survey I read last month put it at over a million that we've killed.
Not trying to debate with you or say you're wrong - shit, the numbers could even be wrong.
Just thought I'd give you more fuel. ;)

The American apathy regarding Iraq's war is worrisome. Television news, as we once knew it, is now dead. You must write to the FCC, Chairman Martin re: "No more media consolidation." "The war goes on" and the dead will eventually exceed 1 million-does your conscience, in any form, feels moved? No more dead!
