This amateur video was taken impromptu at a small family gathering of AGKAI (AMERICAN GOJU KARATE ASSOCIATION INTERNATIONAL) students and families in Southern New Jersey. Many other videos on the Internet demonstrate the excellence of the Black Belts and Masters of various groups, some large, some small, some fair, and some excellent. Our best to all of them. However, in this video, instead of our Black Belts and Masters performing, we stand by and are proud to highlight a few of our children students performing something relatively simple as a intermediate level Kata.
It is their commitment and dedication to martial arts is a great part of the motivation for our founder and HeadMaster, Shihan Ric Pascetta, but also for the numerous Master instructors in AGKAI, such as Master Derek Davis, present here, along with the Black Belt assistants such as Larry Yates, Abraham Smalls, William Bailey, Rick Baily, and Timothy Holmes who each began as children in our various Dojos and continue to dedicate many hours to pass the legacy on to the "NOW Generation" of our American GoJu Karate-do International system.
We hope you enjoy their performance as much as we have and share in encouraging them to continue in their martial arts studies as do so many students young and old around the globe whose lives have been positively influenced and touched by their martial arts experience and dedicated martial arts leaders.
