it's a failed piece of shit!

nice for a homemade hovercraft, but a terrible video! Lots of wasted time.

@Hyperion512 with the right size propeller a weedwhacker can be powerful, i made the same mistake as you and used a 2 ft prop but I bored out the jet in the weed whacker and it worked, it ran like shit but it worked until the piston blew. i have seen people have luck with 10 inch or even smaller props because it will allow the weedwhacker to rev up to very high RPMs which is where it must be to achieve any significant torque.

pull the rope faster 2-strokes start at a higher RPM than the lawnmower engine does

Doly Ham dude, that looks FUN!

solution bigger engine,
-
propeller behind that chair is kind of dangerous,, you might hurt with that propeller,, maybe you should place a cage with it.. be careful men
-
nice, mabe you should get a starter motor for the thrust propeler. but still-
AWSOME!
-
All that work and you end up with an old dude pushing you in circles. lol
-
and that is why you use electric
ok is it just me or do u have to go all the way to the back where the fan is to stop it not only that when ur about to hit something i see no brakes it looks like a death trap

That's right, both motors are controlled with switches way too close to the moving parts. We are working on making those safer.

That's pretty cool. What kind of motor did you use to steer? What did you use for a skirt?

Whoops, sorry about the downvote. The steering motor is a 2 stroke weed whacker engine with a RC plane propeller bolted on. Turned out to not be powerful enough. I think the skirt is some kind of nylon sheet, I'll have to ask.
