The title describes this song exactly: it's like the darkest, most hopeless, most brutal cold, that which represents death and the removal of warmth and life.

@assfuck37 does it matter? also, i don't like thinking in genres, but w/e xD i think Meshuggah was the first band becoming really, really famous with their odd time-stuffs, but i heavily doubt they started it. in my opinion (<--- !!!) the ones starting it all were people like Vivaldi, Mozart etc... yes, old classic dudes like them got some frickin' insane tunes for their time ^^
