My assumption is that the meninges lie under the skull correct? If so what are they cutting through to get to the skull?

i just had one of these done in september 2009 and besides the part that the surgeons shaved, i started losing my hair but just on the top of my head and one little spot on the back. Did anyone else have that kind of reaction? and its not growing back like normal in some areas (meaning the growth rate is not as fast.) did anyone experience this reaction and how long did it take for your hair growth to be back to normal?

Uggh. For those viewing, this is the kind of surgery you can get almost for free (there is always a price to pay) in the universal health care of the former Soviet Union. The fingers through the drill holes and band saw would almost be funny if there wasn't a human being under there. I suppose the alternative to nothing in some parts of the world is better. I survived a craniotomy and fortunately was in the West when I needed it.
