Basically Jamal Bryant is contradicting himself. He said that his guidance counselor made a wrong assessment of him when he failed out the 11th grade & said that he was not college material.
-
CONT....He then went on to say that because of his parents prayer that he went to Morehouse, Duke, Oxford, etc and the same guidance counselor that didnt think he was college material is now a member of his church.....
-
CONT...(and then he goes on to mention what his parents did which is pray when he "failed" indicating that Bishop Carlton Pearson "failed")…..But I look at this speech in a different way. Did Jamal fail or was the guidance counselor wrong in his assessment for speaking failure over Jamals life.
-
CONT... Is it possible that the parents prayed the assessment & words of the counselor off of Jamal Bryant and the counselor realized the error in judgement, repented from thinking lowly of Jamal thus becoming a member of his church.
-
CONT...While maybe Jamal is acting like his counselor more than his parents and calling Bishop Carlton Pearson a failure.
-
CONT...He's not praying like his parents, he is speaking over Bishop Pearson the way his counselor spoke over him and someone like Jamals parents need to pray against Jamals assessment of Bishop Pearsons failure.
-
CONT....Maybe with that prayer, Jamal Bryant will be a member of Bishop Carlton Pearsons congregation with same stupid look on his face that the counselor had when he spoke against Jamal. Thats what I get out of Jamals "story".

@tbonejones7 THE WHOLE POINT OF JESUS' COMING WAS INDICATIVE OF GODS UNCONDITIONAL LOVE. OTHERWISE MAN WOULD HAVE TO BE PERFECT FIRST AND THEN HE'D SEND JESUS.
-
CONT....BUT INSTEAD BECAUSE HE LOVED THE WHOLE WORLD HE SENT HIS ONLY BEGOTTEN SON. HE SENT HIS SON TO REDEEM THE HUMAN RACE WHILE THEY WERE IN THEIR SIN. GODS LOVE SENT HIS SON FIRST TO DIE BECAUSE HE LOVED.
That was the dumbest anecdote I have ever heard, Jamal. You weren't even listening. Next time you sit on a panel, be objective. Respond to what's being said as opposed to what you've already composed on your mental cue card.

It's academic. Notice the so-called preacher's response to Bishop Pearson. It's obvious christians are more hostile than the devil. Bishop Pearson is a truth leader. The panelists do not argue the facts of the bible but their beliefs. They can not see their own error.
