Aust. celebrates anniverary of defeat of Coup against Chavez

On the anniversary of the defeat of the coup against Chavez by the Venezuelan people, Australia solidarity activists and the Venezuelan Charge d'affaires, Nelson Davilla, gathered together at the bust of Simon Bolivar in Sydney to mark the occasion. April 13 2002 Chavez was returned to Caracas as the coup leaders fled or were arrrested after 2 days of protests and rallies by Venezualans demanding his release.

This action on 13-4-08 and many others around the world on this day were filmed and played on Venezualan TV to show Venezuelans that people around the world are in solidarity with their revolution for social change.
