@phillipjfry6 some players believe it helps, others don't - it's all about personal preference. The default fov is 90 (field of view), my fov is at 115. open the console and type in default_fov (a number here up to 130), so it'll be this default_fov 130 then press enter.

tau cannon was my favourite gun af half-life. too bad it didn't appear handheld in hl2, but was attached to jeep instead (at least in hl2 beta it was handheld...)
