@RayPointer H-B pulled some of the best writers from Warner Brothers Animation ( Mike Maltese, Warren Foster) to help create decent funny stories. If you have noticed, WB cartoons from the late 1950s until the studio closed in '63, except for a few, were quite dull. H-B pulled their talent.

@CartoonsIntros It was the magic of the comic writing, combined with the marvelous voice acting by Daws Butler and Don Messeck that made these classics. The animation may have been secondary, but it was still better than the later Hanna-Barbera product post 1970.

This is NOT the YOGI BEAR SHOW intro. This is the into to the shorts, which were never shown on the original syndicated run that started in 1961. The original openings and closing were on YouTube showing Yogi in a helicopter with the Kellogg's reference since Kellogg's sponsored all three of the Hanna-Barbera shows of this time, starting with Huckleberry Hound (1958) Quick Draw McGraw (1959) and THE YOGI BEAR SHOW (1961).
