@MrRedmoneykiller That's a 3 year old comment, lol. But I realized later that it had to do with your settings I think. There was a destruction setting.

uhh my crysis demo only lets me put things on low lol. my comps really crappy and i thought i couldnt blow houses up cuz it was the demo, damn ill have to reconfigure crysis to set the physics up to medium or high. i lag sooo bad with everything on low though. time for a new gfx card (i have a ati radeon x1050 which is really old but it was 40 bucks so i bought it before i knew all this stuff about graphics cards)
wtf? I cant get this kind of destruction in the SP demo/ I put a car in a garage with two barrels and I shot the barrels and the car blew up and the garage was untouched.

well, having a weak graphics card won't normally cause your computer to crash. All it would do it cause you to have a low frame rate. But playing graphic-intensive games (like crysis) for a long period of time will heat up the GPU and if it gets hot enough it will crash. Fault GPU drivers can also cause crashes. If I were you, I'd make sure my graphics drivers are all up to date. If you're still having problems after that, then try checking the temperature of your card while playing games.
