  • Knopfler rules. He had been playing the guitar at that point for 14 years. He makes that strat sing and cry!

  • i Love that they sound almost punk here :D just for the young kids or????

  • Mark Knopfler totally owns the stratocaster. Look at that slap around 4:30, the strat got owned. MK simply means Guitar God.

  • 4:16 Mark Knopfler enter's God Mode

  • @olmusiclover I agree totally, None of Marks other drummers came close. Also all the other drummers tried to endlessly to copy his style and his pattern on sultans with the exception of Terry Williams i thought he was great.

  • Almost as good as Mark's ax is Pick Withers" drum track. Lord, that guy could put up a beat...

  • always remember my big brother saying he'd seen this (then unknown) band (Dire Straits)on revolver, and how good they were . Really nice to see this after all these years . What an odd mixed-up time it was tho - you can see people in the audience pogo-ing, for gods sake, as if they were a punk band. bizarre ! great show, revolver. thx for posting

  • @X3mekickz ha ! Certainly he wasn't a boy any more, but not yet in his 30's - very very nearly, but not quite !!

  • @bolijack Boy? He already was in his thirties! =)
