Tons of hugs ♥Mel Below is the description

This is just a quick little video of our apartment in Mannheim as well a little bit of our surroundings here.. Forgive all the decorations since it took place prior to the Birthday Party (hince all the juice, etc in the kitchen). In addition, this is what Military Furniture looks like .. all of my furniture is being stored in Florida. I can not wait to have my furniture back!! You will also see the Palace, the Water Tower and the Market Place. Also @ the end, William lucked out of getting a ticket. On weekends, its free parking but we failed to paid on that day (it was during the week).

Tons of hugs from Mel (I really hope you don't find this tooo boring). Please forgive the up and down of the camera.. Was hobbling around du2 my achilles tendon.

  • Our housing is crap here. I live on columbus street in benjamin franklin villiage and it's crap! I hate germany haha.

  • I think it depends on what housing you get, because like I said before yes some of the housing isn't nice. Then there are some that is, the only flaw is that they only allow you to look at three to pick from.

  • Is that Benjamin Franklin Village? We are going there next month. That looks really nice! What grade housing is this?

  • Congrats on moving .. I hope it goes smoothly. Mannheim is really nice..

  • omg i use to live in mannheim in 2003-2005 this brings back so many memories!!

  • I'm glad it brought back memories. I miss it honestly

  • I lived at BFV back in the mid 80s, when there was 4 combat battalions, aviation, MP, Signal, PSC.....BFV was packed. Streets were full of people.....buses, taxi, train....

  • I lived at BFV about 90-92 I think I barely remember because I was only about 3 or 4 my father was stationed in Mannheim at the time.

  • @twilightXrockz I lived on Colombus when I was there back in mid 90s and it was great

  • I was stationed at Taylor Barracks in 1973-1974 and worked at the dispensary in Benjamin Franklin Village. Before finding this video I was looking at it on Google Earth and a deep knot in my throat surfaced as I see it with locked streets with cement barriers. I have some of the most beautiful moments embedded on my mind from my days in Mannheim. I met the most beautiful girl in BFV, I lost touch with her and my life's wish has been to see her again. Kathy Jones. I've missed you so much! Juan.
