Such a true and pathetic tale!

This is why everyone has to be educated and refrain from doing illegal things in their life. It doesn't just affect their own lives but also ruins their families.

A great piece of work from Madhur Bhandarkar. Impeccable acting by Tabu.

But it's so sadly surprising that no matter how many such movies are made, there is really no change in the society that we see.

I sincerely hope these movies create some awareness amongst people and make our world a better place.

Don't exaggerate. Tabu is a class actress no doubt but to call kajol over acting, you must be an idiot.

For K3G, you can call SRK over acting, not kajol. Besides, why do you care for Filmfare? how many awards SRK deserved when he got them? full of over acting no? just because your like 'Tabu didn't get it, you get confused about filmfare award? come on.

Tabu is awesome bottom line, even Atul kulkarni is a way better actor than SRK, why don't you talk about them why not kajol/tabu?

i was a skeptic till i really watched tabu in chandni bar and astitva, till date i havn't seen better female actor performances in bollywood, her acting was pitch perfect and outstandingly natural, if she can perform these roles with utter ease what can she do in character based movies. deserves her 2 national awards and should have won more. sorry but tabu is too good for indian movies as most indian films are commercial crap and the rest are class movies like chandni bar which dnt get recgnsd
