It is sad to see Tirupathi becoming a "tourist spot" instead of a sacred place. and that Ghantasala songs wer e being forgotten and remixed to make them look"modern". I feel I am lucky to have lived int he era of ghantasala. as he sang in his songs" poyinollu andaroo manchollu, unnollu poyinolla teepiguruthulu" lets take care of "unnollu" now, I heard all those who were with Ghantasala and still living are going thru Hard times.How do we make them happy? Amazing song!!! It brings back so many memories of our village festival (parashe) a place called agra (bangalore)....not a village anymore. This and other Ghantasala songs would be played on the loudspeakers the entire day. The amazing thing is the person who was responsible for the loudspeakers and music system was a muslim....irrespective of their religion everyone would partake in the festival. Thank u so much for this wonderful song.
