It varies, depending on what suits your needs. We have cabins with no running water, all the way to huge homes with lots of land. It's about the same cost of living as the northeast area of the US in my opinion and not as expensive as places like California.

It's so beautiful and it touches my heart. Do you live in a remote cabin? That's always been my dream to live in a remote cabin in Alaska

No, I live in a house in a neighborhood, but there are many remote cabins to be found in Alaska.
